I created a website tailored and designed around the product, capturing the flair, the movement and the character of Apple.​
Created a physical 3D model of the Apple iCAM.
Created an Instagram profile with a range of content that showcases the Apple iCAM.
Created a promotional video that is edited in an Apple like style.
Updated aim was creating a 3D model for the website.

So what did I do, why? and what did I achieve?


But why?
The reason I chose this project is because of my passion to have a twist of product design and marketing, with my affinity to take on the digital world and trends on social media. With a strong background of both personal and professional experience in social media marketing, content marketing and web design and believe this project was a good choice for me as I am well equipped for this to achieve the objectives and goals that I have set myself.
What did you achieve?
All the objectives I set myself I have achieved, however, there were some changes in the initial promotional video idea and content idea. One of them being a voice over with the promotional video and with the video showcasing someone showing off the product in hand, what it does, how it works all in motion and in one video to captivate the viewer and have a more memorable experience.
Challenges I faced?
The solution?
Budget was one of my biggest challenges along side with editing and filming experience. This meant that with the initial idea I had with my promotional video would have to be changed and more suited to my current circumstances.
So the solution I took the time to think of a solution and an alternative was by taking into account over the entire course and my learning outcomes, using them to allow me to harness my skills to create a feasible promotional video with what I had and thus I managed to create a short promotional video that still captures the flair of Apple.
This was by changing the entire idea and restructuring the budget plan, using the skills I have and the tools and then learning on the go to create a new vision and goal.
How did my course learning outcomes support me on my project and solutions?
The main points I took away from my course that supported me on my project were our photography assignment on the TfL project. This allowed me to understand the fundamentals of photography, structure, focus, depth of field which resulted in me being able to take videos and photos of my product.
Another was our light workshop with Dudley, this skill allowed me to create the solution to my promotional video, using active lighting to create the theme of my video with the strength, speed and distance of both natural and artificial lighting.
Thirdly, our website design assignment with Puddle & Goose, this equipped me with knowledge and skills to design this entire website from scratch with inspiration from Apple. From that assignment I was able to understand the fundamentals of web design, W3C standards, colours, SEO integration and overall website design.
And lastly, my most recent assignment on learning marketing campaign and planning. This allowed me to understand the use of social media marketing, market research and demographics, user personas, target audiences and how to market niche products on certain social media platforms due to its demographic use.
Overall, throughout my entire course, I have learnt, honed and applied all my knowledge and skills in this project and they have allowed me to gain professional experience and make me a confident digital marketer who is equipped with multiple skills for the industry. I have found this experience impactful to my professional life from gaining placements, to work experience, internships and marketing roles. My key takaways from this course and project is being able to use my creative identity to create compelling marketing campaigns and narratives that will allow me to differentiate myself from others.
